Katie Moore balances a life centered around exercise, with a combination of high-intensity cardio and restorative yoga.

Originally from Sleepy Hollow, New York, Katie moved to San Francisco in 2013. She’s adapted to the California culture, but continues to embrace her New York accent and brings a bit of East Coast flavor to her West Coast yoga classes.

High-strung by nature, Katie has found a sense of inner peace and calm through Restorative Yoga and Meditation. She hopes to inspire others to do the same through her weekly Yoga Deck Aromatherapy classes and occasional Bay Area Yoga Retreats. Her extensive background in communications and journalism has helped her cultivate a strong voice and unique style for teaching both cardio and relaxation classes.

She completed her RYT 200-hour certification through Yoga Garden San Francisco in February 2015. Katie is also certified in CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers through the American Red Cross.

Off the mat, Katie spends her time running the Embarcadero and hiking the Marin Headlands. She also sits on the Alumni Board and produces a quarterly newsletter for Fordham University’s Northern California Regional Chapter.
